Jan 1st and as you can see, my energy isn’t at its best. No vibrant energy anywhere to be seen! This tends to make me a bit cranky. I really want to connect with ideas and people but find it difficult. It turned out be a good day to learn how to use WordPress tables! I find when my energy is this way I become more analytical, can be a good problem solver and trouble shooter.

Weather: Light Grey Cloud
Jan 2nd and I have a similar energy pattern to Jan 1st. I am struggling to get in touch with my intuition and creativity. This takes me to the logical analytical part of my brain but this isn’t totally my happy place. I can get things done but I don’t feel relaxed. I can talk to people but I feel like my words and ideas could go on and on. I can’t quite ‘feel’ what I am saying or doing.
I find it is best to keep saying and doing the simple things of life, and believe they are nourishing me.

Weather: Very Light Grey Cloud
January 3rd and something has changed. I can feel more energy if I put my hand on the top of my head, and a little more energy if I put my hands on my temples. But you will see that processing blue and violet light better today, I am struggling to process red a little more. If I put my hands on my legs and feet, I don’t feel much life in them.
But I can work with this . . . Being more in touch with my intuition always excites me. It opens up possibilities that weren’t there yesterday. I have more words and they are flying off my keyboard right now! I don’t know what I will do today yet but I know that it will be something that feels meaningful and pertinent. I will probably have lots of words when relating to people today and will have to remember to listen!

Weather: Mid Grey Cloud
January 4th and I have struggled with a slight headache through the night. Yesterday, feeling more energy, I tried to do some more physical things but my arms and hands didn’t really want to join in. Things I lift or carry felt heavy to me. I also got easily angry, especially when a family member changed the plan of the day without giving me notice! I tended to feel a lack of support but also noticeably pushed support away when offered in the form of a hug.
Today I realise that my energy is most low in my lower arms and hands. Feeling more energy in my shoulders and upper arms, I thought I was good to go. But I forgot to feel into my lower arms. They are more connected with my heart energy (green light). I feel low in this area and it makes it harder to give my gifts to the world and have others nourish me.

January 5th and these charts aren’t looking good! At least ‘low’ isn’t ’empty’. It is just ‘low’ and typical for for me in January. However, my lower arms have woken up today and that alone makes me feel a little more connected with the world. I feel a little more expectant of what the day can bring, than I felt yesterday. This will make me feel more open hearted which also is always a good thing.
Interestingly, the energy in my legs and feet is flowing a bit more than it has been. ‘Stuck’ means no flow but it still doesn’t mean ’empty’. ‘Low’ means a small amount of flow. And when you feel some life in your your legs, it makes you want to do things, go places, see people!

January 6th and it feels like I am more a ‘middle of the spectrum’ person today. That means I find it easier to be open hearted and easier to know my power to be myself. I will also likely feel more creative than I have been feeling.
Being low in the upper end on the spectrum (blue and violet,) though, I might struggle to get in touch with my intuition and also to connect ideas, thoughts and feelings. I will likely struggle to listen to other people. And although I have low energy in my legs (which is better than empty) I likely won’t feel drawn to places and people because my intuition is low.
So it will probably be a day of doing random things – things that I can feel, and mean something important to me.

January 7th and my intuition is back . Blue is still low so I am still not the best communicator. The middle of my spectrum is a bit like yesterday though so I feel I have a certain strength in myself. Red is still low so not good energy in my legs and won’t be going far on this cold day!
Yesterday I felt more connected with my heart, arms and hands so I did some practical things that allow me to relax into the intuitive side of my brain. I am learning braille because I can’t wear reading glasses and really enjoy the decoding element of this! I made a model out of plastic junior meccano because I gain satisfaction from construction but can’t manage the feel of metal. I also planned a craft project for me and my son. We are going to try punch needling. It is hard to find practical things to do when spectral sensitivity comes with so many other sensitivities. Everything we do has to be specific to our needs, our connection way of the day and seasonal.

January 8th and a similar energy pattern to yesterday. I say ‘similar’ because it is impossible to record such subtle change on a simple chart. I don’t feel the same as yesterday. I feel that I am making better choices. This is because as January develops, I am picking up more violet light. And this does not just affect my relationship with my intuition. It also affects the control centre in my brain. I find I can make better choices when it comes to what I think, say and do, when there is a better balance in the light.
Life can be challenging here with 2 people with spectral sensitivity and one person having to take up the slack when it comes to practical things. It is good to be able to make good choices. I stand a better chance of helping others to have their needs met, and when I can do this, it makes me happy.

January 9th and my energy pattern is still similar to the last two days. But like yesterday, I feel different. I am picking up more violet light because it is a clear day today. I can pick up lots of violet from cloud too, but not in January.
Whenever I feel more in touch with my intuition, I feel happier. I usually feel less in control, and life feels a bit more haphazard, but I have learnt to like that feeling. It feels like life. I may not achieve any more than yesterday because now my brain is so excited, it doesn’t know what to do first! But it doesn’t matter. My life is not about achievement. It is about connection

January 10th and I am on day 4 of a similar energy pattern. However, every day I pick up a little more violet light at the moment. Today it seems to be coming from the white cloud.
So, like yesterday, I am feeling intuitive and a little disorganised in my thinking and doing. If I am not careful, I am always thinking that I should be doing something different to the thing I am doing! It feels like my brain is trying to take me somewhere more exciting all the time. And then when I get there, I feel there is still somewhere else to go!
I don’t feel the best at relationship in this light. I tend to want to be the one talking and am not the best listener. Also I like ‘out of the box’ conversations and am not good talking about the mundane. However I have acquired a skill over the years of taking the mundane ‘out of the box’. For instance deciding what people will eat for lunch is no longer mundane. It is an art form! I have to eat crunchy food, I like red. My son has to eat soft food. he doesn’t like red . . . that sort of thing! When you are trying to match your energy with the energy you perceive in your environment, it does get interesting.

January 11th and I am on day 5 of a similar energy pattern. I continue to pick up a little more violet light every day at the moment. Today it seems to be coming from the light grey cloud.
Today the low cloud is making things feel quiet. It is not a lonely sort of ‘quiet’ – more a cosy one., where I can be happy snuggled up under a blanket.
I am struggling to get in touch with ideas that I know are floating around in my brain. I can’t seem to pin anything down. But this does have its uses. It pushes me to let go more to something or someone greater than myself. My simple ideas feel dampened down by the cloud, opening me up to something bigger and better with far greater possibilities.

Weather: Unusually Bright Cloud with Fog
January 12th and my pattern has changed. This is probably temporary because there is very bright fog today. I am feeling less in touch with my intuition, my feelings, power and creativity. This is going to be a bit of a hard day. I am not going to get very far with developing my projects. I want support and praise and all the good things of life but it is hard to let them in. It feels like there is a barrier between me and the people around me.
When I feel les in touch with my feelings and power, it is important not to isolate myself, even though that is my instinct. I am an individualist but only thrive as part of a team (usually just my family team of 3). I will only be happy if I continue to be part of that team, so it is best just to carry on with daily life, supporting others and letting others support me.

January 13th and as you can see, my energy is still low in most places. However, as I have said before, low isn’t the same as empty. It just means I am not buzzing with energy. And perceiving more violet light, I am in touch with my intuition, and also the control centre in my brain (allowing me to make good choices) so I am pretty happy.
What I have to remember today is that achievement is just found in being happy. I am not that productive. I am not very in touch with the physical world so practical things are an effort. I am in touch with my purpose ad my journey and happy to just make one small step towards fulfilling my purpose.

January 14th and my energy pattern is the same as yesterday. I feel very similar to yesterday too, which is quite unusual. I am used to living with constant change so if there is any constancy, I experience it as unusual.
Constancy does make life easier. I know from yesterday what worked and I can do this again with a bit a variation for added interest! it gives me a glance at how someone without spectral sensitivity would live. But now I have got used to living with spectral sensitivity, I will probably be quite happy if I need to start ringing the changes again tomorrow. Change has become my constant!
