Spectral Sensitivity occurs when we are sensitive to one or more colours on the light spectrum, changing the way we see colour and pattern around us.
Spectral Sensitivity is not easy to identify because we all just get used to the way we see the world. But could visual sensitivity be the forgotten sense? Some of us think about sound sensitivity and reach for the ear defenders. But what if the information that our brain is taking in visually is affecting us in a similar way but we haven’t realised, and consequently haven’t felt the need to find solutions to help us?
I tell my story to help you understand the impact that spectral sensitivity could be having on your child. I offer help and have included 2 questionnaires. The first is short and the second is longer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
